Senior Associate / Consultant – Data & Analytics (Accounting / Audit experience required)

Compensation: up to $115,000 base (plus bonus - ca $150k total)

Overview

We are supporting a high-growth consulting firm in the appointment of two Data & Analytics Consultants to join its expanding Finance Transformation practice

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a foundation in Accounting, Audit, or Finance (CPA preferred) who have developed strong data analytics and automation consulting capabilities. The team partners with clients to define data strategies, automate business processes, and develop dashboards and predictive analytics solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

The practice is technology agnostic, leveraging tools such as Python, Alteryx, Power Automate, Power BI, and Tableau to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate data and analytics into actionable business insights for clients and stakeholders
• Design and execute the transformation, cleansing, and analysis of large structured and unstructured datasets
• Develop dashboards, visualisations, and reporting solutions to support business decision-making
• Assist in the delivery of finance transformation and data-driven process improvement initiatives
• Partner closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver practical solutions

Required Experience:

• 1 – 3 years of direct client-facing consulting experience and prior Audit or Accounting exposure (ideally Big 4 or 2nd Tier)
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Broader technical depth across: Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, etc
• Exposure to data visualization, analytics, automation, or business intelligence
• Strong communication, presentation, project management, and stakeholder management
