The Merchandising Manager is responsible for leading product presentation strategies across print, digital, and in-person channels to deliver compelling and conversion-focused shopping experiences. This role partners closely with category owners, marketing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize product discovery, improve content accuracy, and execute merchandising initiatives that support customer needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating seamless product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic merchandising presentations focused on category performance, current initiatives, and future opportunities
- Partner with Category Owners and Digital Marketing teams to optimize product discovery through site navigation, filters, and category page enhancements
- Lead print merchandising initiatives, including product selection, pagination planning, and product story development for marketing materials
- Collaborate with Digital Content and Merchandising Coordinators to ensure product data, imagery, and content accuracy across channels
- Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and market insights to identify merchandising opportunities and improve shopping experiences
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with teams including Merchandising, Digital Merchandising, Data Services, Customer Experience, and Product Development & Design
- Support the execution of integrated merchandising strategies across print, digital, and event-based marketing initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement through testing, analysis, and optimization of merchandising programs and product presentation strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Three to five years of experience in merchandising, ecommerce, marketing, retail, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Google Analytics Certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Background in marketing, communications, design, ecommerce, or digital merchandising
- Experience using analytics tools to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities across digital and print channels
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of ecommerce best practices, online merchandising, and customer shopping behaviors
- Ability to think strategically, evaluate future opportunities, and develop innovative merchandising solutions
- Passion for testing, learning, and optimizing customer experiences through data-driven experimentation
- Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Interest in emerging ecommerce trends, digital marketplace innovations, and merchandising best practices
