Position Description

CGI Federal is seeking a Program Reporting Analyst to support enterprise reporting delivery across AI Application development and Power BI based workflows. This role is responsible for turning prioritized reporting needs into accurate, production ready outputs that improve program visibility, enable informed decision making, and maintain alignment with PI objectives.

The analyst will partner with product, delivery, and technical teams to clarify requirements, validate data against source systems, coordinate UAT, and maintain reporting documentation and catalog health. The role requires strong ownership, testing discipline, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced Agile environment with evolving priorities.

Join a team building modern reporting capabilities where quality, speed, and accountability matter. You will work in an AI augmented delivery environment and help shape reliable reporting from intake through release. This is an opportunity to drive measurable program impact through rigorous validation, strong stakeholder partnership, and continuous process improvement.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA, Knoxville, TN, Belton, TX or Lafayette, LA, Lebanon, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality reporting outputs from prioritized backlog items across program dashboards, iteration reporting, and operational analytics.
  • Clarify reporting requirements with POCs and requestors; document requirement changes, assumptions, and decisions in ADO.
  • Validate new and updated reports end to end, including visuals, tables, slicers, filters, and logic against source systems such as ADO, Jenkins, SharePoint, and database backed APIs.
  • Ensure no report moves to testing or done without complete validation and alignment to Definition of Done expectations.
  • Support and coordinate UAT with business POCs, triage issues quickly, and partner with Product Owner and Scrum Master when scope changes arise.
  • Maintain reporting transparency by keeping ADO status, test results, release notes, and report catalog entries current and audit ready.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and testers to improve test coverage, resolve data discrepancies, and prevent downstream rework.
  • Communicate risks, blockers, and accomplishments proactively to maintain predictable delivery and strong stakeholder trust.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, documentation standards, and delivery tooling across AI application development and related reporting ecosystems.
  • Use AI enabled tools responsibly to improve documentation quality, requirement synthesis, test preparation, and delivery efficiency while preserving human accountability for accuracy.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in reporting, analytics, or Agile delivery environments may be considered.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in program reporting or business analytics, including Power BI or similar tools.
  • Understanding of application development
  • Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Agile/SAFe workflows, and cross functional stakeholder coordination.
