What You'll Do
- Maintain internal data systems to standardize our historical and forecasted fundamental data involving electricity supply, demand, and transmission.
- Analyze historical transmission and price data in our power mapping software.
- Utilize data findings to highlight geographic patterns to help inform energy forecasts.
- Compare different electricity topologies to identify differences that could lead to divergence between nodal costs and payoffs.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Ability to begin full-time employment by August 2026 or earlier.
- Bachelor's degree required; specialization in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Creative problem solving and intellectual curiosity about electricity markets and fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work as part of a team while having the confidence to act autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to complete data entry and mapping.
- Experience with VBA, SQL and/or scripting (i.e. Python) preferred.
