Reporting to IDD Data & Analytics Lead, the IDD Analytics Specialist will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, transforming, and presenting data from various business systems to support operational, project, and executive decision-making. The role develops reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of information to stakeholders.
This position works closely with project teams, business leaders, functional departments, and technology teams to provide actionable insights, automate reporting processes, and improve organizational performance through data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Do Here
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Create executive-level reporting packages and management dashboards.
- Develop recurring operational, project, and corporate performance reports.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and project initiatives.
- Interpret complex data and provide meaningful recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monitor key business metrics and produce variance analyses and forecasting reports.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple platforms and systems.
- Consolidate information from sources such as SharePoint, Power BI, ERP systems, ACC, Aconex, and other enterprise applications.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and governance standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting datasets.
- Collaborate with project teams and business leaders to gather reporting requirements.
- Translate business needs into reporting and analytical solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and executive leadership.
- Provide training and support to report users and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and business intelligence capabilities.
- Implement automation and analytics solutions to improve efficiency.
- Support the adoption of digital reporting and data visualization tools.
- Maintain documentation for reporting methodologies, processes, and data sources.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Power Automate, Python, DAX, Power BI datasets, and data extraction from platforms such as ACC, Aconex, ESRI, and SharePoint is considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, project controls, or data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise systems.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and performance reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Power Query, and data visualization tools to develop dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, database querying, and enterprise information systems, including SharePoint and similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze, extract, and transform data from multiple sources to support business reporting, decision-making, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and time management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and business outcomes.
The expected pay range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 per year.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
