To support our Payment team we are searching for a Payment Data Analyst (f/m/d) to be based in our Milan office.

- Collect, manage and analyze online payments data to identify key trends, patterns and scenarios
- Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization tools (Power BI/Looker) to present findings effectively
- Generate regular reports on payment processing metrics and KPIs as well as ad hoc analysis aimed to support C-Level decisions
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for enhancement based on data
- Work with product development teams to implement data-driven improvements
- Manage, monitor and control online payments volumes and costs, online payment platforms and systems performances
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Fraud Prevention, Customer Care, Legal etc. to ensure operational excellence is achieved
- Proven experience in Data Analytics preferably within a structured e-commerce organization
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI/Looker/Microstrategy)
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Google Suite
- Experience in database management (SQL), ETL and data modeling
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering is preferred. Economics and Business backgrounds are also welcome
- Excellent level of written and spoken English and Italian is mandatory
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a structured organization in the e-commerce business, advisory or system integration consultancy
- Self-driven and delivery-focus with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Understanding of payment processing, acquiring, orchestration platforms, fraud management and antifraud tools is a plus
- Starting annual gross base salary: €33.000. Final compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications and objective, gender-neutral criteria applied during the selection process.
