The Tech Solutions department at EHL is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing digital tools and technological platforms. It ensures system performance, data security, and the integration of new technologies to support both academic and administrative activities. The team collaborates with various departments to design tailored solutions that meet user needs. Through its work, Tech Solutions fosters innovation, operational efficiency, and a seamless digital experience across the institution.

The mission of the Data Lead is to design and deliver reliable, analytics-driven data solutions that support business decision-making and EHL’s digital ambitions, while ensuring high-quality data foundations, enabling AI and analytics use cases, and coordinating data initiatives across business and technology teams.
What will you do?
- Build and maintain business-driven data models across academic, people, finance, HR and digital domains.
- Design and deliver semantic models, KPI frameworks and analytics solutions for reporting, BI and self-service analytics.
- Develop and operate data integration pipelines using APIs, ETL/ELT, event-driven architectures and iPaaS solutions.
- Manage reference data and ensure clear business definitions, ownership and consistency across domains.
- Contribute to the evolution of EHL’s lakehouse-based data platform across raw, curated and analytics layers.
- Lead the delivery of data products, dashboards and strategic analytics initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Coordinate internal and external contributors to ensure successful execution of data and analytics projects.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, practical and business-oriented data solutions.
- Apply data quality standards, modeling best practices and governance principles across the organization.
- Promote data literacy and strengthen business ownership of data to improve decision-making and data quality.
Who you are?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, with additional certifications considered an asset.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, analytics engineering, BI, or similar data-focused roles.
- You have hands-on experience collaborating with business stakeholders to structure and deliver data solutions that support decision-making.
- You have expertise in designing and operating data pipelines, analytical data products, and integrations between operational and analytical systems.
- You have strong knowledge of data modeling, including logical, analytical, and dimensional modeling techniques.
- You have practical experience with BI platforms, semantic layers, KPI frameworks, and modern data platforms such as lakehouse and cloud-based services.
- You have a solid understanding of data integration patterns, data quality principles, metadata management, and master data concepts.
- You are comfortable explaining data and analytics concepts to business users and promoting data literacy across the organization.
- You are a pragmatic and delivery-oriented professional who can lead by example, coordinate contributors, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
- You are fluent in English and French (C1).
