Role
The Data Scientist is responsible for performing advanced analytical tasks on large-scale datasets to support data-driven decision-making and strategic business development. This role combines statistical analysis, process automation, and data engineering to uncover actionable insights and drive innovation.
What will you do?
- Identify and automate repetitive or manual tasks using Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint solutions, and SQL-based workflows.
- Design and maintain data models, SQL queries, Snowflake integrations, and standardized reporting structures that enable fast and consistent access to information.
- Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide timely insights and support business performance reviews.
- Provide long-term ownership, maintenance, and continuous improvement of dashboards, automated solutions, data pipelines, and SharePoint applications.
- Collect, clean, mine, and process high-volume datasets to ensure reliable data foundations for analysis and decision-making.
- Define project scope and requirements with stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable digital and analytical solutions.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent English level.
- Applies basic statistical methods to interpret business performance.
- Understands sample size, distributions, and standard deviation.
- Identifies and explains common statistical errors and misinterpretations.
- Defines problems and evaluates their significance.
- Compares alternative solutions using structured analysis.
- Uses visual tools (e.g., flowcharts, Pareto diagrams) to identify patterns and trends.
- Understands foundational programming concepts and structures (SQL, Python).
- Recognizes the capabilities of major programming languages.
- Uses documentation and specifications to maintain coding standards.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León.
- This position is five-day a week in-office model.
