- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* (All responsibilities may not be performed by all incumbents.)**
Uses database to generate facility reports and client information.
Counts money and prepares daily deposits for money received from clients.
Disperses money to clients weekly by disbursements, spending or phone cards.
Processes promissory notes, tracking client payments and amounts still owed.
Processes new referrals from the court and sets up records for pending clients in database.
May assist with other office functions on an as needed basis, including typing, filing, and assisting with data input for other CJSD processes.
Prepares reports and notices to the courts. Help resolve questions on sentencing information.
Logs, tracks, and maintains records on activities in the database.
Assist with proper record storage procedures and file destruction.
Inventory and order supplies for the department.
Acts as the back up to the accounting techs.
Distributes departmental and client mail/packages daily.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
May interact with clients on a limited basis in regards to their financial or payroll issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required
Must be 21 years of age and successfully pass a background check, including fingerprinting.
Education And Experience
Two years of college or technical school; and two years of progressively responsible experience in the criminal justice field or related experience;
OR
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
Licenses And Certifications
Valid Colorado Driver's License
Knowledge Of

Principles, practices and procedures related to the operation of computer and office equipment.
Terminology related to criminal justice.
General office procedures.
General book keeping practices.
Skill In
Use of word processing, spreadsheets and database operation.
Communicating clearly and effectively with clients and staff, in writing and in person.
Great attention to detail, ability to multi-task in hectic environment without losing accuracy.
Operating computer and office equipment.
Operating motor vehicles safely.
Mental And Physical Abilities
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, and client program handbooks.
Ascends or descends ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like, using feet and legs or hands and arms.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to use hands to finger, grasp, handle or seize objects; and to reach with hands and arms.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent may be required to occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 60 pounds.
**Working Conditions: **
While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent is regul rly exposed to somewhat noisy conditions of a busy waiting room or residential facility. Will require moving throughout a secure residential correctional facility and having contact with residential Community Corrections clients.
The incumbent may work with resistive and difficult people in the performance of their job duties.
