The Team
Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) is A&M’s deal analytics team within the Transaction Advisory Group (TAG). We support clients across the transaction lifecycle by translating complex datasets into clear commercial insight for investors and executives.
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with transaction teams and across A&M’s wider platform - Operational, Commercial, Technology, Tax and Restructuring - to deliver integrated due diligence and value creation insights.
How You Will Contribute
We are seeking a couple of individuals with solid experience in Deals/ M&A to join our team at either Senior Analyst (Assistant Manager), Manager or Associate Director level, supporting the ongoing development and growth of our group.
You’ll contribute to end-to-end analytics delivery, working closely with clients to scope and execute engagements, address complex problems, and communicate commercial outcomes.
Drawing On Your Commercial Expertise, You Will Leverage Contemporary Analytics Methods And Tools To Deliver Actionable Insights Across Various Types Of Client Engagements. This May Involve
- Pre-deal evaluation & exit readiness
- Financial due diligence analytics
- Commercial & growth analytics
- Operational diligence & performance improvement
- Integration & separation (PMI/carve-outs)
- Working capital & CFO advisory
- Turnaround & restructuring support
- Payroll analytics
- Technology & data enablement
You’ll Also Bring
- A CA qualification, or working towards completing this.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, paired with a commercial mindset and comfort working with imperfect data
- A clear appreciation of how analytics affects deal decisions, with the ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Knowledge of common analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx) and visualisation/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to modern cloud data environments and analytics workflows (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Fabric) would also be great but not necessary.
