Senior Accountant

Connect Search is partnering with a manufacturing organization in the Greater Madison area to hire a Financial Analyst / Sr. Accountant. This newly created role will support divisional leadership through financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis across domestic and international operations. Position Details

Title: Financial Analyst / Sr. Accountant

Location: Madison, WI – 100% Onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-5 with flexibility

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 base salary

Bonus: Up to 6.5% annual bonus

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting activities
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
• Perform variance analysis and ad hoc financial modeling
• Partner with Corporate FP&A and business leaders to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Maintain and improve reporting tools, financial systems, and data accuracy across multiple business units
• Support ERP and financial system initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects
• Assist with manufacturing performance analysis, sales reporting, and operational metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 4+ years of FP&A, accounting, or finance experience required
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/reporting systems experience required
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Hyperion, SAP, or OneStream preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
