Essential Functions
- Liaise with a range of users in the organization to identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, define scope and objectives, lead implementation, and provide longitudinal support.
- Review and analyze existing business processes and application systems to develop strategies for improvement through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Research and review information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, develop business process understanding, and work with customers to uncover unmet business needs.
- Review and analyze testing of application system after modifications or updates. Coordinate in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
- Create comprehensive data sets and dashboards for current and historical analysis, and predictive modeling for future strategy.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Valid Texas Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
- 4-year college degree in Computer Technology, Management Information Systems, Management or related field of study
- 4-5 years’ experience in business analysis, application support, application development or systems implementation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation
- Basic knowledge of networking, PCs, servers and database systems
- Proficient in requirements gathering techniques, creation of technical specifications, process mapping, system testing and deployment
- Knowledge with core business systems including work management, document management, collaboration, business intelligence and process automation
- Understanding of application software systems from an end-user perspective
- Comprehensive writing and presentation skills.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Frequently reach below shoulder height and perform filing that requires bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
- Frequently walk to assist employees and visitors.
- Occasionally rotate upper trunk while sitting or standing.
- Stand for extended periods during orientations, job fairs, and recruitment events.
- Coordinate eye, hand, and foot movement to operate a vehicle.
