Senior Data Engineer

What will you be doing?

We have an established Microsoft Data team in West-Flanders, East-Flanders, Antwerp and Wallonia. Now, we’re ready to take the next step and expand our team in Limburg! That’s where you come in.

You’ll take the lead in figuring out and translating our customers’ business needs into the most fitting data solutions.

Part of your workload also consists of:

• collecting, structuring and planning data
• building and implementing end-to-end data platforms
• advising clients on the optimal next steps
• sharing knowledge with your delaware team members
• co-creating with the client’s team

You won’t be doing this alone – we’ve got a great team to support you! You can count on the technical expertise and leadership of the broader Microsoft Data team but also of the local leadership of delaware as a whole.

Is there a match?

Let’s see. If you…

• have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, ideally with Microsoft technologies;
• Know your way around Azure, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL and PySpark;
• have a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL flows, and lakehouse architectures
• have experience leading end-to-end data projects
• are fluent in Dutch, and are proficient in English
