Do you enjoy turning business challenges into data-driven solutions? As a BI Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals, gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into impactful reporting and analytics solutions.
This role goes beyond building Power BI reports. We are looking for someone who can act as an analytical partner to the business, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and proactively suggest insights, KPIs, and reporting improvements that help stakeholders make better decisions. You will combine business understanding, analytical thinking, and Power BI expertise to create solutions that deliver real value.
A summary of your responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, goals, and reporting needs.
- Act as contact point with stakeholders, proactively engaging into business problems, researching on resolution methods and providing status updates.
- Gather, analyze, document, and refine business requirements.
- Translate requirements into effective BI and reporting solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Analyze data and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively suggest new reports, KPIs, and analytical insights that help stakeholders make better decisions.
- Act as a trusted analytical partner by challenging requirements where appropriate and recommending the most valuable solutions.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of data and reporting outputs.
- Present findings and solutions to stakeholders and support adoption of delivered solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other team members to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- At least 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, analytics, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Power BI, including reports, dashboards, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Good SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical reporting and analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious mindset.
- Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Experience with HR, Finance, Operations, or other business domain data is considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Databricks, or similar technologies is a plus.
