This is a hands-on individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of marketing analytics. You will develop measurement frameworks, campaign scorecards, attribution approaches, dashboards, and web analytics capabilities that give Marketing leaders a clear and trusted view of performance.
You'll partner closely with Web, Marketing Operations, Campaign Management, Finance, and Technology to strengthen measurement across campaigns, channels, audiences, and digital experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics expertise with business judgment and a builder mindset. You are equally comfortable working hands-on with GA4, GTM, SQL, and BI tools and translating complex findings into clear recommendations for senior leaders and nontechnical stakeholders.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position based in Lake Mary, Florida.
What You'll Do
- Own The IIA's marketing analytics strategy and measurement roadmap.
- Design and maintain measurement frameworks spanning campaign performance, funnel efficiency, channel attribution, audience quality, revenue outcomes, and web behavior.
- Build campaign scorecards for major marketing programs, including events, membership acquisition initiatives, and digital campaigns.
- Develop attribution approaches that connect marketing activity to registrations, membership conversions, renewals, and other business outcomes.
- Analyze campaign and channel performance to identify trends, opportunities, and underperformance and recommend actions based on the findings.
- Assess data quality, reporting processes, and measurement gaps and establish priorities for improvement.
- Own Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), event tracking, and data validation across digital properties.
- Partner with the Web team to develop tracking requirements, review and QA implementations, and troubleshoot measurement issues.
- Analyze website traffic, engagement, conversion paths, and landing-page performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Use SQL to independently query, analyze, investigate, and validate data.
- Deliver recurring and ad hoc analysis that clearly communicates performance, business implications, and recommended actions.
- Present findings to Marketing and senior leadership, clearly communicating insights, assumptions, risks, and data limitations.
- Serve as a trusted analytics partner across Marketing, helping teams strengthen measurement practices and make more informed, data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6–9 years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience building or maturing analytics capabilities, measurement frameworks, or practices within a marketing organization.
- Advanced hands-on proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including tracking plans, event definitions, implementation validation, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently query, analyze, and validate data.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or a similar BI platform.
- Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar, including data flows between systems.
- Knowledge of attribution modeling, funnel analysis, campaign measurement, channel performance, and subscription or membership economics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex or incomplete data and identify practical next steps.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to work independently in an evolving analytics environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills, including the ability to build credibility with Marketing, Web, Technology, Finance, and senior leadership.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative, analytics, business, marketing, or related field.
- Experience serving as a hands-on or embedded analytics resource within a Marketing organization.
- Experience building analytics capabilities in an organization with evolving measurement practices.
- Experience with membership, subscription, association, or similar business models.
