SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeler

The operateM2C Domain Area is responsible for the operation and further development of the new Meter2Cash system landscape within the Group’s grid business.

Within the overall context of the Domain Area, Data & Analytics creates all reporting relevant to Meter2Cash processes in order to provide various stakeholders, such as internal Group clients, external market partners and regulatory authorities, with relevant information and insights.

The assignment focuses on the development and expansion of data models in the Business Warehouse environment using SAP BW/4HANA. BDO Market Communication and Master Data Reporting provides the functional framework for this work.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements related to energy data management, provided by the Unified Data Board and its specialist working groups, into a technical solution design in line with E.ON’s defined development standards.

Technically define, document and present SAP BW/4HANA data models, particularly models built on the SAP HANA database, for approval and in accordance with the defined business requirements.

Develop data models for the Market Communication and Master Data Reporting BizDevOps team based on relevant source systems, including SAP S/4HANA and MaCo Cloud. This includes creating technical objects and developing, presenting and handing over various architecture scenarios.

Implement requirements according to the Product Owner’s priorities and in alignment with the planned migration roadmap of the SPACE programme.

Analyse and assess the impact of errors or delays in upstream processes on the Data & Analytics Domain development roadmap.

Coordinate with business stakeholders, including identifying functional and logical errors and carrying out the necessary corrective actions.

Document the developed solutions and provide a structured handover of the results to the client.

Use all necessary information, documentation, templates, frameworks and guidelines provided by the client.
