Position Summary
As Data Analysis Manager, we are looking for an individual with “forward deployment” skills, to drive the development of warehouse planning tools. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics and low code AI applications. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, integrating, and scaling AI powered solutions to provide end-to-end, real time, dynamic forecasting and planning models. You will serve as a key individual contributor supporting US Fulfillment and Operations improving warehouse performance, labor planning, cost efficiency, and operational execution.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and technical capabilities with a deep understanding of fulfillment, warehousing, and supply chain operations. They will partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, uncover performance drivers, and recommend practical solutions. This role requires someone who can independently manage complex analytics initiatives, translate data into clear business recommendations, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
We’re seeking a full-time Data Analysis Manager for our warehouse-based office.
Job Responsibilities
- Build Web-Based Planning Tools: Design, deploy, and maintain an internal, real-time labor planning platform using low-code/no-code environments (e.g., Retool, Bubble).
- Leverage AI Coding Assistants: Utilize advanced AI tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to rapidly generate, debug, and optimize backend tool logic without a dedicated software engineering team.
- Build End-to-End Data Pipelines: Query internal WMS relational databases via SQL or screen captures and connect to the time and attendance systems to develop a real-time view of projected capacities.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Implement rigorous data collection, validation, and automated quality checks to guarantee data accuracy and system reliability across all tools.
- Manage Analytics Initiatives: Prioritize and deliver multiple technical tool builds and analytics projects simultaneously in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
- Identify Cost Drivers: Mine historical and real-time operational data to uncover savings opportunities and recommend strategic optimizations to senior leadership.
- Core KPI Leadership Dashboards: Lead the design and maintenance of metrics, dashboards, and automated reports highlighting cost, Cost Per Unit (CPU), and efficiency KPIs for weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Support Root-Cause Analysis: Analyze performance trends to diagnose operational issues and mathematically measure the impact of process changes and cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide Strategic BI Support: Deliver high-impact analytics to US Fulfillment and Operations leadership, focusing on warehouse performance, labor efficiency, and supply chain execution.
- Design Core Leadership Dashboards: Lead the design and maintenance of automated reports highlighting cost, Cost Per Unit (CPU), and efficiency KPIs for business reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Adoption: Partner with Fulfillment, Finance, Logistics, and floor leadership to transition teams from static spreadsheets to live, automated web tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles, preferably within top e-commerce, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain organizations.
- Experience with AI coding environments (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Replit Agent) and low-code application development (e.g., Retool, Bubble, FlutterFlow)
- Proven track record of independently building, hosting, and deploying scrappy, functional web applications or internal tools to solve operational problems.
- Strong understanding of fulfillment center operations, warehouse processes, labor planning, capacity planning, productivity tracking, and supply chain performance metrics.
- Proven ability to design and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for cost, CPU, productivity, SLA, and operational efficiency KPIs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up; Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize competing deliverables;
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Fulfillment Operations, Finance, Product, Engineering, Logistics, and senior leadership.
- Ability to explore and leverage emerging AI tools to improve analytics efficiency, automate repetitive workflows, and enhance insight generation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
