Job Title: Data Analyst/ Data Engineer

Job Overview:

Database engineer with experience in Database management, Data analytics, good knowledge in writing queries to extract the data, automate the report generation through reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and define the overall data analytics architecture
2. Establish data governance to ensure data quality & security
3. Design end-to-end analytics solutions including Data ingestion, Data storage, Analytics layer
4. Understand the data requirements from various departments
5. Extract data from database by writing queries and sharing the reports with the stakeholders
6. Automate the frequently used data reports using the Reporting tool (MS Power Bl) and provide secured access to stakeholders on the reports Query optimization
7. Capacity planning and Database finetuning from time to time to increase DB performance

Skills & Knowledge:

1. RDBMS concepts
2. Writing SQL queries (DDL, DML, DQL, DCL) using MySQL
3. Extract data/reports by writing complex queries
4. Data ingestion (ETL/ELT, streaming, batch pipelines)
5. Data storage (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse)
6. Data Analytics (Bl tools, dashboards, ML platforms)
7. Expertise in data transformation, cleaning, modeling, DAX, and creating interactive dashboards for actionable business insights in MS Power Bl.
8. End-to-end knowledge on Power Bl Report Development and Publishing to Power Bl Services
9. Support development team in Query optimization
10. Database Capacity Planning
11. Database fine tuning for better performance
12. Basic knowledge of MongoDB data querying and data export
13. AWS RDS
14. Python
