Analytics Engineer - Inhouse line roleStockholm | Hybrid | Permanent
Help shape the future of data, analytics & AI
An established Nordic organisation is investing heavily in its modern data platform and is looking for an Analytics Engineer to play a key role in that journey.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional reporting and help define how data is modelled, governed and consumed across the business. You'll work at the intersection of business, analytics and engineering, building the foundations for self-service analytics and future AI capabilities.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for making data accessible, trusted and meaningful by developing semantic models, defining business metrics and creating scalable analytics solutions that support decision-making across the organisation.
Working closely with Data Engineers, business stakeholders and AI specialists, you'll help ensure the organisation's data is ready not only for reporting today, but for AI-driven use cases tomorrow.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop semantic models and scalable data modelsDefine, document and maintain business KPIs and metricsBuild intuitive dashboards and analytical solutions in Power BIEnable self-service analytics across the businessEnsure strong data quality, governance, security and performanceCreate data models that support future AI and natural language analyticsCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions
What We're Looking ForSeveral years' experience developing BI solutions using Power BIStrong SQL and data modelling skillsExperience working with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or similar modern cloud data platformsExperience implementing security models (such as Row-Level Security) and data governance best practicesStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
Nice to HaveSemantic ModelsDAXLakehouse or Data Warehouse architecturesdbtExperience working with AI-enabled analytics or modern data platforms
