Supply Chain Analyst

A Supply Chain Analyst analyzes data and methods to predict and improve a company's delivery of products and services to its customers. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the distribution process and exceptional analytics skills. They use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and track inventory metrics of individual branches to improve overall performance
• Assist in deploying new inventory strategies and measuring success of those decisions
• Create reports to analyze modifications performed on standard products
• Monitor supplier performance metrics
• Analyze material cost changes across supply chain
• Perform monthly budgetary analysis
• Analyze information to identify trends and communicate potential risks and opportunities

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
• Knowledge of supply chain policies, processes, and procedures.
• Proven knowledge of inventory management
• Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships.
• Knowledge of Prophet 21/Activant and SQL a plus
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail.
