Role Description The Materials Planning Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Marlin, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing materials planning and inventory control to support production schedules and customer demand. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining demand and production plans, managing materials requirements, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials. The Materials Planning Manager analyzes data to optimize inventory, reduce shortages and excess, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. This role also involves maintaining planning systems, preparing reports, and driving process improvements aligned with company goals.

Qualifications
- Strong demand planning and production planning skills to forecast requirements and build efficient schedules.
- Experience in materials management and inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels and support uninterrupted operations.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to planning and inventory processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, or chemical industry operations, including familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, procurement, logistics, and management teams.
- Proven ability to prioritize, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and planning tools; experience with continuous improvement or Lean practices is beneficial.
