Data Analyst (Middle/Senior)

ABOUT THE JOB

• Gather, analyze, and clarify business and data requirements for reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Analyze data from multiple source systems and data layers to understand data flow, business logic, and data transformation.
• Perform data validation by cross-checking data, business rules, and metrics between IT, Data Analytics, and business teams.
• Use SQL to investigate data issues, recalculate metrics, validate data accuracy, and ensure consistency across data sources.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on data from Data Lake and other enterprise data sources.
• Translate business requirements and analytical needs into meaningful dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations.
• Work with Data Engineers and Data Platform teams to understand and validate data pipelines, data models, and transformation logic.
• Analyze data across raw and transformed layers, rather than relying only on pre-prepared datasets.
• Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps, and work with relevant teams to investigate and resolve them.
• Support UAT, production issue investigation, and enhancement of existing dashboards/reports.
• Take ownership of BI processes from requirement clarification, data validation, report development, testing, to delivery.
• Communicate findings and insights clearly to business stakeholders and management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• From 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence, BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI in building dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, data validation, metric calculation, and issue investigation.
• Experience working with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Platform, Data Integration, or other data-intensive projects.
• Good understanding of data flow, data models, ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and data quality.
• Experience validating data and business logic across multiple source systems or data layers.
• Good understanding of business requirements and ability to translate business needs into reporting and BI solutions.
• Experience working closely with Business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and QA.
• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar modern data platforms is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ownership.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle ambiguous or evolving requirements.
