Senior BI Analyst
Indexed description
You’ll work across Product, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to define how the company measures performance and ensure that teams rely on consistent, accurate data rather than one-off reports or conflicting spreadsheets.
This role is for someone who goes beyond building dashboards: you’ll establish the definitions, models, quality standards, and reusable BI assets that make reliable self-service analytics possible at scale.

What You’ll Own
- Own the company’s BI layer end to end, from translating business questions into metric specifications to delivering trusted dashboards and certified datasets.
- Define, standardize, and document company KPIs, including their logic, grain, filters, ownership, and edge cases.
- Build and maintain accurate, performant dashboards that surface trends, risks, opportunities, and root-cause signals—not just charts.
- Design and maintain a semantic and metrics layer with consistent entities, dimensions, datasets, and business definitions.
- Create a reliable foundation for self-service analytics and LLM-powered exploration of company data.
- Implement data-quality checks, anomaly detection, testing, and alerts to identify issues before they affect business decisions.
- Investigate discrepancies between reports and source systems, identify root causes, and drive issues through resolution.
- Maintain a clear KPI glossary and metrics dictionary, with structured change management and communication.
- Establish and manage a BI intake and prioritization process, communicating tradeoffs, dependencies, and timelines clearly.
- Partner closely with Product, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to understand their goals and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Reduce reliance on one-off data pulls by building reusable, certified assets that make future requests faster and more consistent.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in BI, analytics, or a closely related role.
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance reasoning.
- Proven experience owning BI deliverables end-to-end, including metrics, dashboards, underlying datasets, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience delivering BI outcomes across at least two distinct companies, business environments, or roles.
- Strong analytical and data-modeling intuition, including facts, dimensions, grains, and join behavior.
- Experience turning ambiguous business questions into clear metric definitions and scalable analytical solutions.
- The ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and push back constructively using data and tradeoffs.
- A strong ownership mindset and a high-quality bar for data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- The ability to manage priorities independently and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, or eCommerce metrics, including revenue, churn, retention, and cohort analysis.
- Experience with data observability, automated testing, anomaly detection, or alerting practices.
- Experience designing or maintaining a semantic or metrics layer.
- Familiarity with AI- or LLM-powered analytics and natural-language data exploration.
Success in this role means that teams use dashboards as their default source of truth, core KPIs have clear and stable definitions, recurring requests are supported by reusable assets, and data issues are detected before they become business surprises.
This is a hybrid role based in our Modi’in office, with three days a week in the office.
If you’re looking to take ownership of a company-wide BI foundation and shape how an ambitious fintech business uses data, we’d love to hear from you.
