Senior Consultant

Requirements Engineering Collaborate with business owners (Claims, Underwriting, Policy Administration) to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive functional and technical requirements for BI and reporting initiatives.

Data Strategy & Reporting Design, develop, and validate automated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting standards.Gap & Data Analysis Conduct root-cause analysis on data discrepancies; perform deep-dive analysis on insurance data sets to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Solution Design Translate complex regulatory or business needs into source-to-target data mappings, logic, and functional specifications for the development team.

Stakeholder Collaboration Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs to present findings and report prototypes to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project KPIs.

Quality Assurance Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), define test scenarios, and validate that reporting outputs meet the intended business outcomes.Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience 5–8 years of professional experience in Business Analysis and Business Intelligence, with a strong track record in the Insurance domain (P&C, Life, or Health Insurance).

Domain Knowledge Solid understanding of insurance lifecycles (Claims, Underwriting, Policy, Billing) and regulatory reporting requirements.

Technical Proficiency

Advanced SQL Proficiency in writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures for data extraction and transformation.BI Tools Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

Data Concepts Familiarity with data warehousing principles, ETL processes, and database modeling.

Agile Proficiency Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; expertise in Jira/Confluence for backlog management and documentation.Communication Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business leaders.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
