Therefore, a successful candidate would be responsible for:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient data models and reporting solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain data models to support business intelligence and management reporting.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical and controlling requirements.
- Develop and optimize BI solutions, dashboards, and analytical reports.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting solutions.
- Work with source systems and integrate data from various SAP and non-SAP environments.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing meaningful analyses and insights.
- Contribute to the further development of the company's BI and analytics landscape.
Therefore, a successful candidate would have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Controller, or in a comparable analytical role.
- Strong expertise in SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, or comparable data warehouse technologies.
- Solid experience in data modeling, business intelligence, and analytical reporting.
- Good understanding of manufacturing/operations controlling and/or procurement controlling.
- Experience with SAP ERP (R/3) and/or SAP S/4HANA source systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Services, and/or Databricks is highly desirable.
- Data science and advanced analytical skills are considered a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern BI architectures.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau) is an advantage.
