About the Role
An established healthcare organization is seeking a Net Revenue Analyst to support net patient revenue valuation, financial reporting, and reimbursement analytics.
This role uses healthcare finance and analytical expertise to evaluate revenue trends, contractual allowances, reimbursement activity, and financial performance. The position contributes to accurate financial reporting while providing data-driven insights that support financial planning and executive decision-making.
The role works closely with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Reimbursement teams to ensure accurate and compliant recognition of net patient revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze net patient revenue and reimbursement trends.
- Evaluate contractual allowances and revenue-related financial data.
- Develop forecasts for net patient revenue.
- Build dashboards and produce reports covering revenue performance and variances.
- Maintain and update revenue valuation models.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities through financial analysis.
- Support the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Provide analytical insights to support financial and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Reimbursement stakeholders.
- Ensure revenue recognition processes align with applicable requirements and internal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of revenue cycle experience.
- 1–3 years of healthcare finance experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement concepts.
- Ability to interpret financial data and identify meaningful trends.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with healthcare financial systems such as Epic, Kodiak, Strata, or similar platforms is preferred.
Compensation & Work Environment
- Annual salary of $63,065–$93,600, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement with 3 remote days and 2 office days per week.
- Standard Monday–Friday schedule.
