Job Details

Selmet is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our precision aerospace manufacturing operations in Springfield, OR. In this role, you will handle general ledger entries, account reconciliations, A/P and A/R, and assist with month-end close and financial reporting. You will help maintain accurate cost accounting for manufacturing, support audits, and ensure GAAP compliance. Working closely with operations and finance, you'll analyze variances, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to process improvements in a safety-focused, continuous-improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare financial statements and management reports under GAAPSupport cost accounting for manufacturing operations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with operations to analyze production and cost data
• Identify and support implementation of process improvements in finance
