Senior Associate Transportation Business Analyst

What You Will Be Doing
- Develops and maintains data models and forecasts to inform strategic planning and operational decision-making across the Transportation Business Unit (TBU).
- Partners with technical teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and business-aligned data, and develop and maintains data-driven forecasting models, dashboards and executive-level presentations to provide actionable insights through data that supports operational decision-making.
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to evaluate market trends, customer behavior, and operational performance, and supports the exploration of strategies and technical solutions to support new initiatives, business cases, and service enhancements.
- Supports the identification of opportunities and improves analytical workflows through scripting, automated reporting, and dashboard tools to support operational efficiencies and leadership decision-making.
- Supports the development and implementation of key metrics, KPIs, and benchmarking to monitor transportation service performance, identify optimization opportunities, and inform continuous improvement.
- Participates in special projects involving research, analytics or emerging technology in support of transportation-related initiatives.
- Prepares executive-level presentations for technical and non-technical audiences on recommendations for optimizing business processes and data quality.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Finance, or a related field.
- One (1) plus years of experience with data/business analytics, business planning, or quantitative analysis.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
- Possession of a valid class C driver’s license.
- Knowledge in quantitative/business analysis, business planning, market research, statistical modeling or forecasting methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Skill in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and have familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skill in problem-solving with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to gather and document business requirements.
- Ability to derive insights from complex and large data sets; possess strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and present technical information and ideas in business terms.
- Ability to learn new technology and techniques.
- Ability to utilize tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy or other data visualization tools.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across teams and build strong working relationships, both inside and outside the organization.
