IT Research Analyst (CRM)

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Research Analyst to support our Business Development team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research, business intelligence, CRM management, reporting, public financials and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering market intelligence, maintaining customer and market databases, supporting management reporting, and contributing to strategic business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured secondary research using public sources, company filings, industry databases, government publications, financial reports, news sources, and other credible online resources; critically evaluate and cross-check information rather than relying on a single source.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify gaps or inconsistencies in available information, and conduct follow-up research to determine the underlying reason or most reliable interpretation.
- Collect, validate, analyze, and compile data from multiple sources to support business development, market intelligence, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously update a database of prospective customers, including company profiles, industry information, key contacts, and sales-related documentation.
- Maintain CRM data quality through regular monitoring, validation, cleansing, reconciliation and coordination with regional teams; support CRM adoption and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
- Monitor industry developments, emerging trends, and relevant market news, providing timely updates to the Business Development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Logistics, Parts, and other business units, to support commercial initiatives.
- Perform additional business analysis and reporting tasks assigned.

- Ability to identify discrepancies, question inconsistencies, and independently investigate issues rather than simply reporting them.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and structured reporting.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and word, including data cleaning, lookups, PivotTables, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to contribute across multiple business functions.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in research, business intelligence, data analysis, market intelligence, consulting, or a related role.
- Experience with online research tools, public databases, company filings, financial reports, and other information sources is an advantage.
