Manager - Retail Analytics

Organizational Unit Purpose:

The Retail Risk Analytics Unit supports Consumer Risk by providing portfolio analytics, risk modelling, management information (MIS), and regulatory reporting. The team delivers timely insights to monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks, support credit policy decisions, and enable data-driven business decisions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate Retail Risk MIS, dashboards and portfolio reports.
• Perform portfolio analytics, segmentation, vintage and trend analysis to identify risk drivers.
• Develop and monitor application and behavioral scorecards and support model governance activities.
• Prepare accurate and timely management and regulatory reports.
• Conduct data analysis to support policy, strategy and portfolio optimization.
• Collaborate with Business, Credit Risk, Collections, Finance and Technology teams to deliver analytical solutions and improve reporting efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (postgraduate qualification is an advantage).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or fintech, with expertise in Retail Credit Risk or Portfolio Analytics.
• 2+ years of experience in python programming for data analysis and automation
• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, SAS, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Solid understanding of retail credit risk models, portfolio analytics, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
