- Coordinate and guide the 90-to 180-day certification lifecycle for assigned merchant and POS vendor portfolios, guiding stakeholders from Initiation and Scope Discovery through Lab/Beta Testing to final Production Release.
- Create, tailor, and maintain technical test scripts weekly based on specific customer hardware and software profiles (Full Certification vs. Regression Testing), actively troubleshooting authorization or script execution errors daily.
- Configure test environments daily using the eManager Portal to set up test cards, prompts, and velocity limits for assigned regional accounts.
- Collaborate weekly with client engineering teams to establish secure network connectivity (SSL, VPN, Direct Connect) while proactively adopting AI-assisted diagnostic tools and process automation scripts to optimize manual testing workflows.
- Execute intermediate to advanced SQL queries on backend tables daily to audit test results, verify transaction outputs, and ensure data integrity against live system logs and Script Workbooks.
- Champion successful launches by issuing formal Certification Letters and providing hands-on operational support during the critical 30-day post-launch stabilization window daily.
- Serve as a primary technical resource expert for assigned regions, ensuring strict adherence to technical interface specifications, including ISO 8583 Card Payment Authorization and Proprietary Sales Transaction files.
- Resolve production authorization anomalies, POS terminal equipment issues, and transaction data file questions during outage reconciliations weekly.
- Proactively identify and embrace opportunities to integrate AI and automation technologies into operational processes. This includes initiatives to drive scale, reduce reliance on manual processes, and mitigate operational risks.
- Stakeholder Communication & Project Management:
- Lead weekly kickoff meetings, technical alignment sessions, and project updates as the primary technical point of contact with external merchants and internal teams (Merchant Development, NetOps, Product Support).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in payment processing, IT systems support, network interface testing, or technical QA.
- Technical Acumen: Proven ability to understand, interpret, and apply technical interface specifications (API/Network Interface Testing).
- Data Proficiency: Demonstrated intermediate to advanced SQL skills to extract data, verify transaction outputs, and analyze system logs. Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience creating, executing, and troubleshooting technical test scripts and validation files.
- Communication: Strong track record of managing external client and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a background investigation.
- Advanced Education: Specialized certifications in QA, Payment Systems, or Project Management.
- Specific Skills: Prior experience navigating WEX, EFS, or OTR proprietary payment network schemes and transaction workflows. Hands-on familiarity with payment test environments, terminal setups, eManager Portal, and EMV/CHIP parameters.
- Technical Skills: Experience leveraging process automation tools, scripting languages, or data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI).
- Soft Skills: High intellectual curiosity, resilience in troubleshooting complex technical bottlenecks, and exceptional organizational agility.
Pay Range: $81,200.00 - $96,900.00
