Role Description The Senior Construction Data Operations role is a full-time hybrid position based in Gillingham, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing construction project data, including collecting, validating, and maintaining information related to costs, schedules, resources, and performance metrics. The position involves developing and refining data processes, producing regular reports and dashboards for project managers and leadership, and identifying trends or risks that could impact delivery. The role includes collaborating with site teams, finance, and procurement to ensure accurate data flows from field operations into centralized systems. The Senior Construction Data Operations professional will also help define best practices, support system implementations or upgrades, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in data management and analysis, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Ability to interpret construction project information such as budgets, schedules, resource plans, and performance indicators.
- Experience designing or improving operational processes, workflows, and documentation related to data handling.
- Proficiency in creating clear, accurate reports and dashboards for stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, site teams, and office-based staff.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple data streams and deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction industry practices, project management concepts, or commercial management is highly beneficial.

- Relevant education or training in construction management, data analysis, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
