JOB PURPOSE:
To provide analytical and operational support in optimization of petrochemical and polymers feedstock streams, Planning and scheduling of petrochemical product line. The role prepares production planning inputs, develops production schedules, performs mass balance analysis, and contributes data to support commercial and operational decision -making.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performs the activities, may include but not limited to:
- Prepares short- to medium-term production plans that balance customer demand, plant capabilities, inventory levels, and maintenance constraints.
- Develops and issues weekly and monthly production schedules for the related products.
- Tracks, monitors execution of the production schedules, identifies deviations and reports findings for appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepares scenario comparisons and “what if” cases to support planning reviews.
- Collects and validates data needed for feedstock optimization and mass balance models converting both petrochemical/hydrocarbons and polymers feedstock streams.
- Perform preliminary analysis and feedstock allocation scenarios, including Swaps, alternative sourcing, and related aspects.
- Supports mass balance updates by entering data and validating results.
- Assists in consolidating economics/margin figures for feedstock evaluation.
- Gather operational, supply and demand data and transform it into dashboards, tables and KPIs for planning decision support.
- Prepares regular reports on feedstock utilization, production plans, inventories and capacity utilization.
- Highlights abnormalities or trends.
- Coordinates with operations, logistics/distribution, sales and business development to gather requires data and clarifies assumptions used in the planning and feedstock modeling.
- Supports planning and optimization meetings with required material and analysis.
- Participating in S&OP and ES&OP meetings to align production capabilities with commercial demand.
- Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
- Perform any other relevant task as directed.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s of Science/Engineering.
- Chemical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- + 3 years of related experience.
