Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data and consulting with subject matter experts to design and develop business rules for data processing
  • Setting up and/or maintaining dataflows in data wrangling tools like Alteryx or Google Dataprep
  • Creating and/or maintaining SQL scripts
  • Where applicable, working with data engineers to assure specifications are understood and followed
  • Being responsible for ensuring that campaign performance data is easily accessible and reliable
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediating data quality across marketing data systems ensuring full understanding of client deliverables
  • Designing and executing data quality checks
  • Keeping up to date on digital media operations – new partners, buy changes, etc.
  • Governing taxonomy additions, application, and use
  • Serving as a knowledge expert for media and site data processes and identifying areas of improvement to ensure appropriate turnaround times and data quality standards are being met
  • Evaluating opportunities for simplification and/or automation for reporting and various processes
  • Influencing teams towards data-informed decision-making and analytical thinking
  • Promoting a culture of process documentation
  • Providing guidance on process improvements and best practices for data management
  • Working closely with other Data and Analysis teams, providing recommendations and direction on visualization of our data

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful experience, which typically includes:

  • 3-4 years of applicable experience
  • A four-year college degree; advanced degree is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for problem solving
  • Passion for data automation and finding efficiencies in current processes
  • Passion for digital marketing, eagerness to learn in a constantly changing space, and a natural curiosity
  • Proficient with SQL and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio)
  • Knowledge and experience with Python and/or R a plus
  • Experience with tools like Alteryx a plus
  • Experience working with Google Cloud and AWS a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.

Compensation Range: USD $73,150.00 - USD $101,010.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
