This includes owning key marketing and customer metrics, supporting forecasting and planning, and delivering actionable insights that optimise spend and drive sustainable growth. You will directly influence how we allocate spend, forecast growth, and scale sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial & Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

FP&A & Commercial Performance

  • Integrate marketing and customer metrics into financial models and forecasts
  • Evaluate the financial impact of marketing spend, ensuring alignment with overall business profitability
  • Provide insight into revenue drivers, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.

Marketing & Customer Analytics

Analyse and optimise key marketing performance metrics, including:

  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

  • Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
  • Conversion funnels and cohort performance
  • Develop and maintain robust customer and revenue analytics, including segmentation, retention, and behavioural insights
  • Own unit economics and basket analysis, identifying opportunities to improve margins and revenue per customer.

Business Partnering & Insight

Partner closely with the marketing team to:

  • Evaluate campaign performance
  • Inform budget allocation and channel strategy
  • Support test-and-learn initiatives
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve commercial performance.

Data & Reporting

  • Develop scalable reporting solutions and ensure data integrity across key metrics.

You have solid experience in commercial finance or data analytics, ideally in a marketing or growth-focused environment. You are confident using data tools and dashboards, and you understand what really matters when it comes to marketing metrics and digital performance. You are skilled at turning complex data into clear, useful insights that help drive better business decisions. You take ownership of your work, enjoy working with different teams, and are comfortable sharing insights and influencing stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Strong experience in commercial finance or data analytics, ideally with exposure to marketing or growth environments
  • Advanced proficiency in data tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Snowflake, BigQuery) and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI, Omni, Looker or Quick Sight)
  • Solid understanding of marketing metrics and digital performance channels
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to link data insights to business outcomes
  • Experience working with large datasets and building scalable reporting solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple, compelling way
  • Highly proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders.
