Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyze portfolio trends, risk concentrations, and emerging risks. Work with large datasets related to leases, loans, collateral values, and customer performance.
- Develop credit, residual value, and/or portfolio risk models and interpret outputs. Lead model documentation, testing, and model governance activities.
- Contribute to a team that reviews and challenges business-leader decisions that influence portfolio composition and risk.
- Design and execute stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Lead the automation of risk reports and dashboards.
- Mentor and review work performed by Analysts.
- Master’s degree in financial engineering, statistics, mathematics, engineering, econometrics, or a related field . Bachelor’s degree is acceptable with compensatory experience.
- 3–5 years of quantitative, analytics, or risk experience
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL or Python.
- Solid understanding of leasing, asset finance, or secured lending concepts.
- Ability to present complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
- This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour work week (35-hour for Canada) but may vary to meet business needs.
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
- Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person
- Body motor skills sufficient to move from one office location to another
The position is exempt and the salary will be between $110,000 and $135,000 with an opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus.
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
