Power BI

• Skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer/Analyst to join our growing analytics team.
• In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Domain knowledge

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language)
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, normalization, relationships)
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• Develop and optimize data models using Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage user access/permissions Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data refresh issues
• Publish and manage content on Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, and scheduled refreshes
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes
• Provide training and support to end-users on self-service BI tools
• Stay current with Power BI updates, features, and industry best practices
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines feeding into BI solutions
