About The Role

What if your expertise in genomic and clinical data could directly shape how AI understands and advances personalized medicine for millions of patients? We're looking for a Precision Medicine Data Lead to guide how complex healthcare datasets are integrated, governed, and transformed into actionable insights — and in doing so, help train the AI systems that will define the next generation of clinical research and care.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced healthcare data professionals who want to work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and life sciences.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract

What You'll Do

  • Lead analytical strategies that transform complex, integrated datasets into actionable insights for precision medicine research and clinical decision support
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and engineering teams to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and strategic coherence
  • Communicate findings and data narratives clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Apply your expertise to evaluate and improve how AI systems handle healthcare and genomic data — ensuring outputs are accurate, rigorous, and clinically meaningful

Who You Are

  • Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles
  • Strong background in data integration, data governance, and translating complex data into meaningful insights for scientific or clinical audiences
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
  • Comfortable navigating the nuances of healthcare data compliance and research ethics
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, genomic databases, or biomedical ontologies
  • Background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or clinical informatics
  • Experience contributing to precision medicine or translational research initiatives

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside world-leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
