Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to deliver expert advisory and consulting services on business operations and internal processes for our clients. In this role, you will play a key part in maximizing profitability both within Cedrela and for our external clients. Guided by industry standards, established principles, and clearly defined work plans, you will lead short-term and long-term projects to address a wide range of business challenges and needs.

As a knowledgeable consultant, you will provide insightful advice in your area of expertise. Your responsibilities include analyzing complex situations and offering fresh, innovative perspectives. Whether recommending the implementation of a new IT system or developing a comprehensive strategic plan, you will be charged with identifying and executing the most effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, organize, and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients in line with their requirements.
  • Undertake short-term and long-term projects to address a variety of issues and needs.
  • Develop detailed business plans to drive changes and ensure successful implementation.
  • Meet with clients as needed to perform initial assessments of problematic situations.
  • Conduct meetings with management or relevant staff to understand their requirements.
  • Gather information about the client’s business using methods such as shadowing, interviews, surveys, and report analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify weaknesses, understand underlying causes, and diagnose issues.
  • Formulate concise reports that present findings, recommendations, and solutions tailored to the client’s objectives, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Present and explain findings to client executives, providing ample justification and practical advice.
  • Provide high-level advisory and consulting services on business operations and internal processes based on analysis and formulate plans to implement recommendations and overcome objections.
  • Arrange or deliver training to staff affected by change, assisting in the resolution of discrepancies during implementation.
  • Evaluate project progress periodically and adjust plans as needed.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of industry trends, products, and best practices.
  • Offer ongoing guidance and support to address emerging problems and issues.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders by maintaining clear, consistent, and proactive communication.
  • Foster a success-oriented and accountable environment.
  • Cultivates a service culture of excellence and develops clear objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an M.B.A. is preferred. Additional qualifications in a specialized field are a plus. Certification in consulting or in a related field of expertise is advantageous.
  • Expertise: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. Proven experience as business advisor particularly in Finance and Accounting. Experience in project management a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Knowledge of business software and IT system.
  • Knowledge Base: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current trends in the financial and operational sectors, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging developments. Exhibit a proactive willingness to learn and innovate, applying fresh strategies across diverse industries.
