Overview
The Senior Analyst, Forecasting & Reporting is responsible for owning and continuously improving store-level Ship‑From‑Store (SFS) and Buy‑Online‑Pick‑Up‑In‑Store (BOPIS) forecasting, reporting, and capacity decision frameworks. This role serves as a key decision support partner to Omni Fulfillment and Store Operations, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that drive real-time operational outcomes, particularly during peak periods. The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in improving forecast accuracy, optimizing store labor utilization, and enabling scalable, reliable forecasting processes across the network.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead development of monthly SFS and BOPIS forecasts, including methodology, inputs, and distribution.
- Enhance forecasting methodologies to drive greater forecasting accuracy.
- Own incorporation of new business drivers, events and operational changes into forecast models as they arise.
- Evaluate actuals vs. forecast performance down to the store level and deep dive into key areas of opportunity.
- Build and maintain detailed knowledge of the revenue side of the Ecommerce business.
- Develop daily capacity utilization reporting including communicating and solutioning risks.
- Identify and surface risks and opportunities within reporting to enable proactive decision-making.
- Provide recommendations that directly inform store-level capacity adjustments and operational actions.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and narratives that drive alignment and action.
- Influence cross-functional partners on forecast-driven decisions and trade-offs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Omni and Store Operations leaders on forecasting and capacity strategy.
- Balance competing stakeholder requests while maintaining forecasting integrity.
- Track store openings, closures and renovations in a consistent and timely manner.
- Document forecasting inputs and assumptions to ensure transparency and repeatability.
- Establish guardrails for forecast changes and ensure consistency across reporting cycles.
- Manage version control of forecasting and capacity files, documenting updates and changes between cycles.
- Own daily Ecommerce KPI reporting and performance tracking during peak volume periods.
- Prepare and present daily peak-period readouts.
- Balance speed and accuracy when providing recommendations under high-pressure timelines.
- Capture and document learnings for post-peak review.
- Bachelor's Degree or 4-year college degree
- 5 - 7 Years w/A minimum of 5 years' experience; Supply Chain, Finance or forecasting-related work experience required
- Heavy use of Microsoft Office
- SQL experience preferred
- Data Analysis (Databricks, Intera, SCI)
- Power BI experience preferred
- Sensitivity Analysis and Scenario Planning
- Creative Problem Solving
