We're looking for a detail-driven Merchandiser to join our team, ensuring our products land in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities helping us maximise commercial performance across the Active, Kids & Accessories.
You will help shape the future of how Merchandising operates at Vivobarefoot by personally applying AI, automation and data tools across forecasting and insight generation - setting the standard for how we make faster, smarter commercial decisions as a business
📍 Based in Wrington, Bristol on a hybrid working basis
WHERE YOU’LL PLAY
- Own and drive Merchandising for the Active, Kids & Accessories BU, across all channels
- Work cross-functionally within the Active, Kids & Accessories BU to articulate a strategy for the BU, in line with company and BU targets, as defined by RT
- Product Line Managers - understand their vision and direction for the products according to the opportunities identified & maximise profits through GIM, pricing architecture, product mix and channel/regional mix
- Marketing – build a GTM plan including key dates, by channel, to optimise sales based on BU strategy, ROS & marketing budget
- Align Merch Plan with Demand Plan, Capacity Plan and company targets, budget & blended margin targets
- Work with the regional leads to gain insights on local ROS, product opportunities
- Lead trade reporting and performance reviews for the designated BU, identifying risk and opportunities across sales, stock and margin
- Manage the stock position at a BU level, based on information available (AI)
- Coordinate the buy at a BU level to ensure:
- Right products appear in the right location, at the right time & in the right quantities
- Cover is optimised, based on model and channel
- Aged stock and general stock position is optimised
- Rollup of the buy with the Snr Manager is aligned to Commercial Finance budget & predictions, as well as company targets (contribution, GIM…)
- Planning buy quantities and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges
- Reporting on the current season's sales and analysing the previous season's sales
- Planning 4 buys per year for the Active, Kids & Accessories BU
- Maximising profits through pricing analysis and reviewing mark downs.
- Experience working in a similar role within Footwear, Apparel or Retail
- Trading Mentality; ability to work at pace, challenge results and information to identify challenges, drive for results and track record of success.
- Experience managing WSSI and OTB
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Commercial problem-solving skills.
- Organised, accurate and process driven.
- Excellent Excel skills.
