Job Summary
The Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle and supply chain strategy, from supplier sourcing, procurement, and product development through inventory planning, ecommerce operations, and commercial performance. This role will identify and manage supplier relationships, oversee product development and quality initiatives, optimize inventory and demand planning, and support ecommerce merchandising and platform operations. This position will utilize supplier, inventory and ecommerce data to support the overall strategy of our commercial division and coordinate the efforts between internal and external stakeholders. Success in this role requires a strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative leader who can balance cost, quality, availability, compliance, and market demand while continuously improving the company's supply to sale processes and overall operational performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to our industry as well as all internal policies and guidelines related to our business.
- Lead sourcing strategies, including supplier identification, evaluation, onboarding, contract negotiation (pricing, terms, SLAs), risk mitigation, and performance monitoring to secure costeffective, highquality materials/finished goods aligned with demand.
- Drive product development lifecycle, from market/trend research and ideation through prototyping, sampling, testing, quality assurance, compliance (e.g., safety, regulatory, sustainability), BOM (Bill of Materials) management, and scaling to production; collaborate with design, engineering, or external partners as needed.
- Oversee or actively support ecommerce website/platform operations (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce), including:
Merchandising coordination for launches, seasonal campaigns, bundles, flash sales, and inventory-driven promotions.
Troubleshooting integration issues between ecommerce frontend, inventory, and backend systems.
- Manage inventory and supply chain planning, including demand forecasting (incorporating ecommerce, dealer and distributor sales data, promotions, seasonality),
- replenishment, stock optimization, and reducing excess/obsolete inventory.
- Analyze crossfunctional data (sales trends, supplier metrics, product performance, ecommerce KPIs, ERP reports) to inform decisions on purchasing, product assortment, pricing, development priorities, and cost/margin optimization.
- Manage budgets across procurement, product development (R&D/samples/tooling), and related operational expenses; track key metrics like cost savings, gross margins, ontime delivery, sellthrough rates, return rates, and ERP process efficiency.
- Foster crossdepartmental collaboration with marketing (promotions/content), sales/ops (fulfillment/customer service), finance (budgeting/invoicing), IT (system support), and leadership to align on revenue growth, profitability, and customer experience goals.
- Support other business units and other projects and assignments as needed.
- ITAR Authorized US Persons as defined under 22 CFR 120.62 required.
- Lawfully permitted and comfortable working in facilities with access to firearms and munitions required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a relevant field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in marketing, ecommerce and other relevant fields.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, ect
- Experience with obtaining, developing and analyzing market data and formulating strategies based on real time data.
- Must understand supplier agreements and pricing.

Travel May Be Required For Sales/business Development/ Tradeshows.
