Manufacturing Data Analyst
The Data Analyst develops and delivers digital solutions that collect, clean, and interpret complex datasets to drive better business decisions. Bridging raw data and strategic planning, this role turns numbers into clear, actionable insights through reports and interactive visual dashboards.
This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and reports directly to the Production Director.
Responsibilities
Hardware Delivery Support
- Requirements Gathering: Understand reporting requirements and data deliverables for specific customer hardware and qualification campaigns.
- Data Mining: Collect, mine, and analyze supporting data from primary and secondary sources.
- Reporting: Develop reports and visuals to support customer hardware reviews and deliverable data packages.
Business Tool Development & Visualization
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department leaders and teams to understand tool, UI, and reporting needs.
- Solution Design: Propose data-driven solutions, design dashboards, and build/maintain stable databases and data systems where required.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze statistical data patterns and trends to deliver actionable business insights to requestors.
Data Quality & Management
- Auditing: Proactively identify data discrepancies, inconsistencies, or corrupt information.
- Data Cleaning: Collaborate across departments to remove errors, duplicates, and inaccurate data points.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the root cause of data errors, develop corrective actions, and lead their implementation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience Level: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience building dashboards in PowerBI or similar tools.
- Workplace Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Atlassian tools (Confluence/Jira).
- Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail with proven problem-solving abilities and an understanding of MRP/ERP or manufacturing databases.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex, technical data into simple, actionable insights for non-technical teams.
- Experience with Data Science/AI scripting (Python or R).
- Basic web development knowledge (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript) for custom UI/presentation tools.

Physical Demands
