Principle Responsibilities
- Lead in developing and maintaining monthly forecasts for all finished goods parts using order and shipment history, customer point of sale data, market intelligence, and industry trends to inform the projected demand.
- Work with sales, marketing, and product management to understand product life cycles, demand patterns, and short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts.
- Develop and maintain monthly forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics by customer, product family, and SKU.
- Ensure proactive communication and delivery of targets for forecast accuracy and bias. Drive action plans for improvement in case of non-compliant KPIs.
- Communicate and summarize forecast changes along with monthly performance and critical variances.
- Schedule, prepare documentation, and moderate bi-monthly revenue call with sales leadership
- Run and maintain statistical forecasts in IBP. Analyze and articulate variances between statistical forecast, history, and customer forecast.
- Develop, maintain, and report out weekly and monthly POS and inventory reports for key customers with sales leadership
- Articulate and present POS, inventory levels, price points, store counts, and rate of sales observations to multiple levels within the organization
- Able to process large amounts of data, influence others, drive cross-functional alignment, and communicate at various levels within the organization.
- Experience using and interacting with Demand Planning systems.
- Experience with forecasting methodologies, techniques, and approaches (e.g., time series, causal modeling, and ML)
- Must be well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines, and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced MS Office skills (i.e., Excel and PowerPoint) and prior ERP system experience such as SAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively across the organization to accomplish strategic objectives
- Undergraduate degree in operations management, supply chain, engineering, statistics, or a related field. Certifications like Google Data Analytics or Six Sigma are also welcomed
- 2-5 years of supply chain planning experience in S&OP, demand, and supply planning.
- CPG and E-Commerce experience a plus.
