Junior Merchandiser / Business Analyst

We are hiring a Junior Merchandiser / Business Analyst to join a fast-paced Retail Merchandising & Planning team. The role will focus on merchandise reporting, data analysis, OTB updates, and supporting business decisions through accurate and actionable insights. You’ll work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Finance, MIS, and IT teams while using Excel, SQL, Oracle, and TOAD to turn data into meaningful reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and recurring performance metrics.
• Prepare sales, margin, stock ageing, sales ageing, intake tracker, and exception reports.
• Build and maintain merchandise databases using SQL and Oracle TOAD.
• Analyze data and prepare ad-hoc reports to support senior management decisions.
• Update and maintain OTB (Open-to-Buy) sheets.
• Support the Merchandising and Planning teams with accurate data and reporting.
• Assist in improving Oracle reporting processes and provide business intelligence solutions.
• Ensure strong data accuracy and timely reporting.

Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with approximately 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Around 2 years of experience with SQL and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with Oracle TOAD is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Good communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with confidential and company-wide data.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic or Java would be an added advantage.
