Overview
DATA ANALYST (Marketing & E-Commerce Analytics)
We are looking for a Data Analyst (Marketing & E-commerce Analytics) to join our Data & Technology team and turn complex marketing, webshop, and campaign data into actionable business insights. You'll support one of Hungary’s largest online retailers while contributing to analytics projects across Publicis Groupe’s client portfolio.
In this role, you’ll analyze campaign performance, build benchmarking and forecasting frameworks, and provide data-driven recommendations that support business planning and decision-making. You’ll work closely with retailer stakeholders, media planners, strategists, and client teams to help maximize marketing effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Analyze webshop and digital campaign performance across multiple brands and channels.
- Build and maintain campaign benchmarking databases using historical performance data.
- Develop forecasting methodologies and performance estimates for future campaigns.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights through data analysis.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Support campaign planning, evaluations, and proposal development with data-driven insights.
- Develop benchmark methodologies by comparing campaigns with similar mechanics, formats, objectives, and brands
- Collaborate with media, strategy, client service, and retailer teams to support decision-making and optimization.
- Produce recurring and ad-hoc analytical reports for retailer stakeholders
- Contribute to analytical best practices and knowledge-sharing within the agency.
- Experience as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel, strong SQL knowledge, and hands-on Python experience.
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical methodologies.
- Ability to identify meaningful insights and connect them to business impact.
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent English (written & spoken).
- Experience with GA4, e-commerce analytics, Snowflake, BigQuery, dashboarding tools, or forecasting techniques is an advantage.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in environments where not every process is already defined.
