About the job Data Analyst – Data Governance & Data Sharing Job ID: JP054582Data Analyst – Data Governance & Data SharingWe are looking for a Data Analyst to support the analysis, modelling, quality control, documentation, and sharing of geographic and non-geographic data.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and assess data quality, structure, maturity, and compliance.
- Design data models, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.
- Transform source data into shareable and reusable datasets using FME and/or Denodo.
- Perform data quality and compliance checks.
- Manage metadata and support data publication through relevant platforms.
- Work with data owners and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure data is properly documented and maintained.
- Support data integration, interoperability, governance, and secure data access.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and provide ongoing support to data stakeholders.
- Experience in data analysis and data modelling.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Experience with data quality and validation tools.
- Knowledge of ETL and data transformation, preferably FME.
- Familiarity with GIS tools such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of open data standards, data governance, and European data directives.
- Knowledge of Denodo and data virtualisation is an advantage.
- Excellent French (C2) communication skills.
- Dynamic, flexible, and service-oriented.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Able to understand and respond effectively to stakeholder needs and urgent requests.
