In this role, you will contribute to data-driven transformation initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, data teams and technology teams. You will combine hands-on data preparation and analysis with project management and a strong understanding of business needs.
What you will do
Data Analysis & Preparation
- Collect, combine and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
- Design, maintain and optimize data flows and transformation processes.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and opportunities.
- Translate business questions into data-driven analyses and practical recommendations.
- Investigate data quality issues and work with data owners and providers to resolve them.
- Develop dashboards, visualizations and analytical outputs to support business decision-making.
- Analyze existing data processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Contribute to the redesign and optimization of data flows and analytical processes.
- Support data migration and transformation initiatives, including the transition to new data environments and tools.
- Challenge existing ways of working and propose innovative and scalable solutions.
- Help establish robust and sustainable data foundations.
- Manage and coordinate data-related activities and project deliverables.
- Work closely with business users, data providers, IT teams and other stakeholders across different functions and locations.
- Translate business and operational requirements into clear data solutions.
- Plan, monitor and communicate progress, risks and dependencies.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis or data-related transformation projects.
- Experience in project management or project delivery is required.
- Hands-on experience with Dataiku is required.
- Knowledge of Alteryx is required.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources, data preparation and ETL/data transformation processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Curious, proactive and eager to understand new business domains and processes.
- A Master's degree in a quantitative, technical or analytical field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a strong plus.
This is a hybrid consulting role with regular on-site work at the client. You will work from the client's premises on a regular basis to collaborate with stakeholders, understand business needs and ensure effective delivery.
