Senior Data Analyst

Our client is looking to strengthen its Data Warehouse team with a Data Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams in a context of ongoing Data Platform transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of analytical data models.
• Perform data profiling and analysis on operational databases.
• Support data quality, governance, and documentation initiatives.
• Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure reliable and high-quality deliverables.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Databricks and PySpark (the Data Warehouse is currently being migrated to this platform).
• Solid experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL for data profiling and analysis.

Data Expertise

• Good understanding of Data Governance principles (DMBOK or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Kimball dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of Data Vault is considered a strong asset.

Business Knowledge

• Experience in the Life Insurance industry is a significant advantage, enabling an effective translation of business needs into data solutions.

• End-to-end vision and understanding of data flows.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding documentation, testing, and data quality.
• Analytical mindset, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
