Software Engineer / Data Analyst

Work Arrangement: Fully In-Office — No Remote or Hybrid

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications and data solutions that integrate information from multiple systems.
  • Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries and data-processing programs.
  • Analyze business data related to sales, pricing, profitability, inventory, distribution, and CRM activity.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand challenges and develop practical technical solutions.
  • Organize data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis.
  • Validate data and system accuracy and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Improve query performance and processes involving large datasets.
  • Review, troubleshoot, and modify existing code.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of business information.
  • Support additional technology and analytics projects as business needs evolve.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience involving programming, SQL, software development, or data analysis; 4+ years preferred.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations, normalization, and indexing.
  • Experience with MariaDB/MySQL preferred.
  • Strong programming and software development skills.
  • JavaScript experience preferred.
  • Experience with PHP, Perl, React, Unix/Linux, or other development technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to understand and modify existing code.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with technical and business teams.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, programming languages, and systems.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and programming required.
  • Experience using technology and data to solve business problems strongly preferred.
